Patrick Duffy and Linda Purl, both working in the same industry, never crossed paths until 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their romance developed over Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are now enjoying each other\u2019s company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDallas\u201d actor Patrick Duffy, 73, and \u201cHappy Days\u201d actress Linda Purl, 67, both had successful careers in Hollywood but never crossed paths for decades despite working in the same business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duffy had a long-lasting and loving marriage with his wife, Carolyn Rosser while Purl had been married to four different men before they found each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purl\u2019s first husband was Desi Arnaz Jr. from 1980 to 1981; her second husband was William Broyles Jr. from 1988 until 1992. She married her third husband, Alexander Cary, in 1993, and they divorced in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She then went on to have a fourth and final husband, James Vinson Adams, from 2006 to 2011. Of the four ex-husbands, Purl shared only one child with Cary and she never considered dating again after being married multiple times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, Duffy\u2019s world was turned upside down when his wife of 43 years, Rosser, passed away. She was 77. The couple shared two sons, and despite her passing, Duffy still considered himself a \u201cmarried man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a while, Duffy was not ready to move on from his wife\u2019s death. Emotional, he said he missed Rosser\u2019s touch the most and felt closer to her then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in 2019, Duffy found love again at 71. Purl came into his life and ultimately transformed it. Interestingly, Duffy won Purl\u2019s heart through the video call platform Zoom. They felt like teenagers when they met a few years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite working in the same industry, Duffy and Purl never met each other. But their surprising relationship began in the fall of 2019. They both attended an event in Los Angeles, where a mutual friend introduced them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three started chatting through text, but the friend soon dropped out of the group, leaving Duffy and Purl to continue texting each other, and it became their opportunity to bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
